The Story Behind Quiz Arena
This started as a simple idea: What if quizzes were not just for practice, but also competitive, real-time, and rewarding? After weeks of development, Quiz Arena was born — a platform where learning meets competition and real earning opportunities. I wanted to create a platform where any user can host paid or free quizzes, and participants can earn real money and withdraw it. We implemented a fully automated prize distribution system: 50% to winners, 30% to the quiz creator, and 20% to the platform. To make it even more engaging, I built a 'War Room' feature where users can create public or private rooms, invite friends, and battle live. And for those who want to host but don't have questions ready, we integrated AI-powered quiz generation that instantly generates quizzes on any topic. The platform is built with scalability in mind, using a 3-layer architecture deployed on GCP and Vercel.
